Servings: 15 - 4" Tortillas
Prep Time: 15 Minutes Minutes
Bake/Cook Time: 90 Seconds Minutes

1 1/2 cup (210g) Steve's GF Bread Flour Blend

3/4 cup Cold water

2 tablespoon light olive oil

Pre-heat the griddle to 400 degrees. Using a paddle attachment on a stand mixer, combine all ingredients and mix on low until the dough starts to come together into a ball, 2-3 minutes. Divide the dough into 1oz pieces and roll them into a nice smooth ball. Prepare the tortilla press by covering it with a plastic wrap. On the tortilla press, press the ball down to a flat round shape and then press down a few times until about 4" diameter and 1/16" thickness. Cook on the griddle for 50 seconds on one side, then flip over and cook another 40 seconds on the other side. The tortilla should be soft enough to fold over with breaking, so be careful not to over cook it.

You can use the tortillas to make tacos, enchilidas, burritos and much more. We also use the tortillas to hold scrambled eggs, ham, turkey, cheese, etc. Warm them up for a tasty snack or meal.

I have had Steve's flour since I last placed my order and hadn't yet tried any of the recipes. I was making fajitas and was trying to figure out what to do for the tortillas. We use corn tortillas for many things, but I was tired of those. We have tried frozen rice tortillas and Udi's flour tortillas but was not in love with either of those. Then I remembered the flour and looked up the recipe. It looked so easy I decided to try it. They were incredibly easy to make! I rolled them by hand because I don't have a tortilla press. They rolled out beautifully (not exactly round though), and when I cooked them I couldn't believe how sturdy they were! My family was so happy to have such a wonderful tortilla! My son said, "Can you make these all the time, these are the best!" I have to agree!! I am excited to be able to eat burritos again! Thank you Steve!
