3 ounces plus 1 Tablespoon (100 grams) |

Directions:
- To make dough combine Authentic Foods Steve’s GF Bread Flour Blend, sugar, salt, Authentic Foods Vanilla Powder, and yeast in mixer bowl.
- In separate bowl whisk together water, milk, butter, oil, egg, and honey.
- Using dough hook to mix, add liquids to dry ingredients and mix on medium speed until smooth dough is achieved. Remove from mixer bowl and place on work surface. Knead lightly to smooth out dough and add Belgian Pearl Sugar. Work into dough by hand until evenly distributed.
- Divide dough into 6 equal pieces, about 5 ounces each. Place on parchment lined sheet pan and cover with plastic. Leave in warm spot to rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- While dough is rising preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions. Heat to medium low heat.
- Once risen cook off one waffle at a time for about 2-3 minutes each. Pearl sugar should melt and coat outside of waffles.
- Remove from waffle iron and allow to cool slightly for caramelized sugar to harden before serving.
